In 2002, Rosalea and Paul Murphy opened Hunter Valley Design, bringing quality Australian & European designer furniture and lighting to Newcastle and the Hunter region.

Rosalea Murphy is our interior designer.  She brings a wealth of knowledge from 30 years of experience as a designer both in Australia and the U.K.

Paul Murphy worked as a multi-award winning cinematographer for 30 years on feature films in Australia and the U.S. before opening Hunter Valley design.

Sam Murphy is our commercial sales consultant, he has a intimate knowledge of our vast range of office furniture and lighting.

Our 500 sq. meter showroom, the former Newcastle wool auction house with 5 meter ceilings, allows you to comfortably view our extensive furniture & lighting range.

Interior design consulations are available in our showroom, your business or home.
